Our Global, Connectional Church

The United Methodist Church is a global - connectional church.  There are pathways in place to connect each local church to all the other local churches world wide.   Through these pathways move the ideas, resources and people to where they are needed most to pursue the work of the church. 

Our global church - the General Conference -  is divided into annual conferences, districts and congregations.  The congregation of First UMC Cedar Falls is a member of the Northeast (Iowa) District and the Iowa Annual Conference.
