Discipleship Training in February

Our church is hosting the “From Membership to Discipleship” training on Tuesday, February 16. Developing intentional discipleship is at the heart of being a follower of Jesus. It is key to revitalizing our churches. Both laity and clergy are invited and encouraged to attend. Dr. Phil Maynard will lead us forward in ministry by helping us determine what it means to be a disciple and how we can assist God in the making of disciples.

We will gather at 8:30, and the training will begin at 9:00 and end at 4:00. Make your reservation for lunch by February 9 by sending a $10 check payable to Iowa Annual Conference to the NE District office (Thunder Ridge Ct, 2302 W 1st St Ste 2, Cedar Falls)

Sign up to donate at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org.  Use the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center to let Lisa know if you can donate cookies or chat and serve cookies to the donors for an hour or so.
