Ride to Church this Summer

We are inviting all members to walk or pedal to church this summer.  The invitation is part of our Blue Zone Challenge with the other churches participating in the Cedar Falls Ministerial Association.  

On Sunday, July 12 at 1:30 p.m. we will join bikers and walkers from our sister churches of the Cedar Falls Ministerial Association for a “Blessing of the Bikes”.  This event is co-sponsored by the Blue Zone Committee.  We will gather at Overman Park to bless our bikes, helmets, bike paths, RABRAI riders and our community as we prepare to host thousands of bikers on RAGBRAI.  At 2:00 p.m. we will be sent out to ride one of the many trails in the area.  It will be a wonderful time to joyfully celebrate the work and fun we do together in serving Christ together.  Wear your TEAM Christ T-shirts!
